Greg Packer is a hand and wrist surgeon from the UK, and has an international reputation in the field of hand and wrist surgery.

He is a member of the British and American Hand Societies

Until recently he was the Medical Director or the Orthopaedic Division of the Mid and South Essex NHS trust.

He has undertaken a large number of wrist replacements over 30 years in Consultant practice and has been involved in design and research in the field including the first 20 cases of the KinematiX hemi arthroplasty and developments to the Motec wrist system.

He has also performed many other joint replacements in the hand especially in the CMC joint of the thumb and is the design surgeon for the Bridge which is a solution for failed trapeziectomy.
